AIJU participates in a seminar about project SAMNIC in Prague

Last 20th April, an informative event about the European project SAMNIC “Training on Safety Assessment and Management for New and Innovative Children’s Products” at the headquarters of the Czech Association for Toy and Play (SHH) in Prague.

This event, intended mainly for technical staff in the industry and consumer associations, was designed to disseminate the free online open course that is being developed within project SAMNIC, as well as continue recruiting potential validators of the Czech version of the platform.

During the event, the speakers highlighted the advantages offered by this online tool in order to improve the capacities of the organisations involved in children’s products safety; some of the training materials prepared for this project were shown.

This event, organised by the Czech Association for Toy and Play (SHH), was held with the collaboration of the Technological Institute of Children’s Products & Leisure (AIJU), the European Association for the Coordination of Consumer Representation in Standardisation (ANEC), the University of Alicante and the University of Padua.

Fifth meeting of project SAMNIC

Last 19th April, the fifth follow-up meeting of project SAMNIC was held at the headquarters of the Czech Association for Toy and Play (SHH) in Prague. The meeting was organised by this institution with the main objective of completing the development of the platform that will include all training materials (videos, tests, reading material and activities) included in this MOOC.

The platform is currently being developed by the partners of the European project SAMNIC, but preregistration is already available if you want to be a part of the potential group of users that will participate in the pilot test of SAMNIC MOOC before being launched.

Project SAMNIC as an example of good practice

AIJU PARTICIPATED IN THE EUROPASS CONFERENCE ORGANISED BY THE SPANISH SERVICE FOR THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF EDUCATION

Last 17th February, AIJU presented the European project SAMNIC as an example of good practice during the Europass conference organised by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) in the Spanish city of Toledo.

The Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) is the autonomous body, belonging to the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, that takes the role of national agency for the management, dissemination, promotion and impact of the Erasmus+ programme in the field of education and training (2014-2020), in addition to other European initiatives and education programmes.

During their presentation, AIJU shared with the education community their experience as coordinators of the project and how it helped enrich both the people and the organisations involved in SAMNIC.

AIJU as coordinator of projects within the Erasmus+ call (programme 2014-2020)

AIJU are currently coordinating two European projects within key action 2 (KA2) in professional training of the Erasmus+ programme in fields related with children’s products and play areas, which belong to the 2014 and 2015 calls.
