Important progress during the second meeting
The second meeting took place on 5 March, in the Italian town of Padua, hosted by the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Sciences of the University of Padua, the Italian partner in the project. At this meeting, the training model was defined in terms of subjects, duration and learning methodology, and progress made in the design of the training materials. Among others, the MOOC will cover subjects such as the legal framework for children’s products, risk analysis and epidemiology of the injuries related to products used by children.
The pedagogical design will be focused on five key areas: learning, activities, resources, interactivity and assessment.
SAMNIC MOOC will offer digitised materials on children product safety freely and openly to use and reuse for teaching and learning.
SAMNIC MOOC is being developed tailored to real needs of industry (specially SME’s) and consumer organisations in order to enhance the skills and competences on child safety of their key staff (technical staff, quality team, designers, trainers, etc.)
